Malayalam actor Ahaana Krishna and cinematographer Nimish Ravi have tied the knot, prompting a warm reaction from Ahaana’s sister, Hansika Krishna.

Reacting to the celebrations, Hansika described the occasion as “The most dreamy wedding ever”.

Ahaana and Nimish recently shared their first wedding pictures on Instagram. Alongside the photographs, Ahaana posted a heartfelt note for Nimish, describing him as her “best friend, boyfriend, partner” and “soul-mate”.

“My Best Friend, Boy Friend, Partner, Soul-Mate, Comfort Pillow, Cup Cake and now Husband!” Ahaana wrote.

In another part of her message, Ahaana reflected on their decade-long relationship and their decision to build a life together.

"My best friend, boyfriend, partner, soulmate, comfort pillow, cupcake and now husband. With you, my heart beats slow, steady and right. To growing old together and building a world together we can call our own, here's to being the same team for life and beyond."

She also thanked the people who worked behind the scenes for nearly six months to organise the wedding celebrations.

Ahaana, the daughter of actor and politician Krishna Kumar, made her acting debut with Njan Steve Lopez in 2014. She has since appeared in films including Luca, Pathinettam Padi and Adithattu.

Nimish is a cinematographer known for his work in Malayalam films such as Kurup, Thallumaala, RDX: Robert Dony Xavier and Bhoothakaalam.

The wedding had attracted attention in recent weeks, with reports of prominent film personalities arriving in Thiruvananthapuram for the celebrations. Kannada actor Rishab Shetty and his wife were also spotted in the city.

The buzz grew after Cultural Affairs Minister P C Vishnunath shared a picture with Ahaana and Nimish from the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.

Ahaana has said she has known Nimish for 10 years, describing him as a best friend who eventually became her boyfriend and life partner. Unlike her younger sister Diya Krishna, whose relationship and wedding were more visible on social media, Ahaana had largely kept her relationship with Nimish private until recently.
