Further enhancing the epic's grandeur, the film boasts a powerful musical score crafted by the legendary composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman

The highly anticipated cinematic adaptation of the epic "Ramayana" has offered its first glimpse to the world, revealing key cast members and the immense scale of the project. Titled "Ramayana: Our Truth. Our History." and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this magnum opus from Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios and Yash's Monster Mind Creations is set to unfold in two parts, with Part I slated for release on Diwali 2026 and Part II following on Diwali 2027.
The "first glimpse" shared provides an evocative introduction, setting the stage by invoking the Hindu Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva – and hinting at the timeless conflict that ignites "the war to end all wars." It emphasises the profound saga of Rama, embodying dharma and sacrifice, pitched against Ravana, who represents power and revenge – a narrative cherished by billions for millennia.
The star-studded ensemble bringing these legendary characters to life was also a highlight of the glimpse, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
Further enhancing the epic's grandeur, the film boasts a powerful musical score crafted by the legendary composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, marking their first-ever collaboration. The screenplay is penned by Shridhar Raghavan. To ensure epic battles and breathtaking visuals, Hollywood's top stunt directors, Terry Notary and Guy Norris, are choreographing the action, while renowned production designers Ravi Bansal and Ramsey Avery are reimagining ancient India's visual grandeur.
"Ramayana: Our Truth. Our History." is "Filmed for IMAX," promising a visually immersive and transcendent theatrical experience.
