Actor Dulquer Salmaan has heaped praise on the recently released Malayalam film Rekhachithram, starring Asif Ali in the lead role. In an Instagram story, Dulquer described the film as an exceptional cinematic experience and urged audiences to watch it if they haven’t already.

“I watched this absolute gem of a film! If any of you have missed it, do watch it in cinemas. It’s a thriller, it’s got mystery, and it’s packed with nostalgia, especially for Malayalam cinema enthusiasts. The performances are incredible, featuring some of my favourite actors!” Dulquer wrote.

He went on to praise Asif Ali’s dedication to his role, stating, “Asif, you deserve all the love for putting your heart into this role and film. You made us, the viewers, connect deeply with your character through your frustration, pain, and sheer determination to solve the mystery and bring justice to an innocent victim.”

Dulquer also commended the performances of other key actors in the film, particularly Anaswara, Manoj K Jayan and the rest of the cast. “Anaswara, there was so much hope and innocence in your portrayal of Rekha. Manojetta, you looked amazing and were just stellar—and at times, menacing—as Vincent! The rest of the cast was spectacular, and every single artist was absolutely true to their roles. Jofin, Appu, Mujeeb, Shameer, Sameera, and the entire technical team, your work was exemplary. May you all bring more such gems to Malayalam cinema.”

Rekhachithram, with its gripping plot and powerful performances, has captivated audiences and has already raked in crores of rupees at the global box office, setting the tone for Malayalam cinema early in the year. The film also marks the continuation of Asif Ali’s successful streak at the box office, following the huge success of Kishkindha Kaandam, another thrilling release from last year.

With its rich storytelling and brilliant performances, Rekhachithram has become one of the must-see films of the season, further establishing Asif Ali’s growing reputation as a leading actor in the Malayalam film industry.
