Actor Rashmika Mandanna has spoken candidly about the emotional toll of enduring constant trolling, negative PR and public judgment throughout her career. From personal heartbreaks to professional decisions, she has frequently found herself at the centre of gossip and criticism.

In a recent interview with Snap With Stars, Rashmika explained why she often holds back from showing her true emotions in public, and how her kindness is frequently misunderstood.

“I know that I am a very emotional person and a very real person. At the same time, I can’t really show it because people think kindness is fake and a sign of weakness. They say, ‘She’s doing it for the cameras.’ The more real you are, the more unacceptable it becomes,” she said.

She added that kindness is a personal choice, not something that earns her rewards, but one she chooses regardless.

Reflecting on the negativity she has faced, Rashmika said, “I’ve dealt with a lot of negative PR and trolling. If you can’t be kind, then just don’t say anything. Let people breathe. Why do you have to suffocate people? Why do you have to strangle people to grow? No, let all of us grow. It’s fine. The world’s so big, there’s room for all of us.”

The actor admitted to feeling trapped in a cycle of healing from online attacks, only to be wounded again by fresh criticism. Despite this, she remains determined to focus on her work and personal journey.

Up next, Rashmika will star in the Hindi film 'Thama' and the Telugu film 'The Girlfriend'.
