Acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil has once again charmed fans with his honesty and unconventional dreams — this time, by revealing that he still holds on to his wish of becoming an Uber driver in Barcelona someday.

In a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said he might seriously consider the idea once audiences start getting tired of seeing him on screen. “When people eventually get bored of me in the cinema, I’ll probably take up that job in Barcelona,” he said with a smile.

When asked if the dream was still alive, Fahadh replied without hesitation: “Absolutely”. He recalled a recent trip with his wife and actress Nazriya Nazim to Barcelona and explained the joy he associates with driving. “Honestly, there’s nothing more beautiful than taking someone from one place to another — being part of someone’s journey, even briefly, is a lovely experience.”

Taking a more introspective tone, Fahadh added, “Whenever I get the chance, I still do it — it’s my time. It’s not just about driving. Whether it’s playing games, watching sports or TV, I believe you should always engage in what you love. It shapes how you see the world.”

This isn’t the first time Fahadh has spoken about his unusual dream. In an earlier interview, he had revealed that he even considered it a sort of retirement plan. “I’ve told Nazriya that I’d love to settle down in Barcelona someday and drive a taxi around Spain. She quite likes the idea too,” he had said.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Fahadh was last seen alongside comedian Vadivelu in Mareesan, directed by Sudheesh Shankar. He has a line-up of exciting films ahead, including Malayalam titles like Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, Karate Chandran and Patriot, as well as a Telugu project titled Don’t Trouble the Trouble.
