He highlighted the issue of certain groups within the industry who even take portions of actors’ remunerations. However, his experience with Amaran was an exception.
At the recent celebration marking the 100th day of his film Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan revealed the rare experience in the Tamil film industry regarding his remuneration. He shared that, unlike many other instances in the industry, he received his full payment six months before the film's release.

He said, “I have waited for my remuneration until the night before the release of my films. However, Raaj Kamal Films paid me my full remuneration six months before the release of Amaran. Running a company that respects actors is no small feat.”

Amaran is produced by veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who also took a moment to praise Sivakarthikeyan at the event. Kamal shared that Sivakarthikeyan’s dedication extended beyond his acting career. He mentioned that Sivakarthikeyan had invested in films after building his own house, a testament to his commitment and passion for the industry.
