
Producer Listin Stephen has reassured that there are no problems within the Kerala Film Producers Association. Speaking about recent developments, he stated, “If there is a film strike tomorrow, Antony Perumbavoor will be at the forefront and will stand by any decision taken by the association.”
Addressing recent remarks by Producer G Suresh Kumar, Listin clarified that his statement was not aimed at any individual. He emphasised that there were no personal implications in the comment.

Listin acknowledged that 2024 had been a remarkable year for Malayalam cinema, with the highest number of hits. However, he expressed concerns about 2025, noting that the business potential was already declining. He suspects that OTT platforms and satellite channels are not viewing content in the right way.
Regarding the association’s willingness to make more foreign language films, Listin revealed that a meeting was held involving the Producers' Association, FEUOK and the Distributors Association. He also shared that the association had sent a letter to AMMA, requesting a review of remuneration.
