Unni Mukundan's exceptional performance in the recent action-packed film 'Marco' continues to garner praise, with the movie achieving an unprecedented milestone as the first A-rated Malayalam film to cross ₹ 100 crores at the box office. Adding to the accolades, renowned stunt coordinator Kalai Kingson, who worked as the action director for 'Marco,' has made an interesting statement, claiming that Unni Mukundan is destined for global stardom, particularly in Marvel movies.

In an interview with Silly Monks Mollywood, Kalai Kingson lauded the actor's commitment, stating, "Unni Mukundan is neither meant for Malayalam cinema nor Indian cinema. He should head straight to Marvel movies. He executes every stunt with unmatched perfection while maintaining an incredible level of swag and heroism." Kingson emphasized that Mukundan's dedication and ability to adapt to challenging choreography, even under tight schedules, sets him apart.

Meanwhile, Unni Mukundan recently made headlines for stepping down as the treasurer of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). Sharing his decision via Instagram, the actor explained that the overwhelming demands of his professional commitments, particularly the intense schedule for 'Marco,' had taken a toll on his mental health. "Balancing my responsibilities as AMMA treasurer and my work commitments has been challenging," Mukundan wrote, adding that he intends to prioritize his well-being and spend more time with his family.

Marco, which hit theatres on December 20, has been receiving positive reviews and has performed well at the box office. The film features Unni Mukundan in the lead role and is written and directed by Haneef Adeni. The star-studded cast also includes Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhan Singh, Abimanyu Thilakan and Yukti Thareja in supporting roles.
