Sunita Ahuja made candid revelations on Lock Upp 2, claiming Govinda had 'many affairs' while also revealing she cared for the actor for 10 days after his gunshot accident and dismissing rumours surrounding his recovery.

Sunita Ahuja has made some of her most candid remarks yet about her marriage to Govinda, revealing that despite what she described as the actor's "many affairs" over the years, she continued to stand by him, including during his recovery from the gunshot accident that made headlines last year.
Speaking on the premiere episode of Lock Upp 2, Sunita addressed several rumours surrounding her personal life and marriage, while also shedding light on what happened behind closed doors after Govinda's accidental shooting.
"When you love someone, you have to tolerate everything," Sunita said while reflecting on her decades-long relationship with the Bollywood actor.
She then made a startling claim.
"Chichi had many affairs in his life," she said, referring to Govinda by his nickname. Sunita added that relationships between actors and actresses are common in the entertainment industry and suggested that dealing with such realities was part of her journey as Govinda's wife.
'I took care of him for 10 days'
While discussing the controversies that have followed the couple in recent months, Sunita also addressed rumours linked to Govinda's gunshot accident.
She denied speculation that she was either involved in the incident or absent during his recovery. Clarifying her role during that period, Sunita said she personally looked after the actor after he returned home from hospital.
According to her, Govinda came directly home after completing medical formalities and remained under her care for around 10 days.
Sunita claimed that the actor later resumed going out and spending time with friends, describing it as part of his nature.
Her comments appeared to be a direct response to allegations that she was not supportive during one of the most difficult periods in Govinda's recent life.
Sunita also revisited comments she had made in earlier television appearances, including her much-discussed observation that relationships work smoothly until a "third person" enters the picture.
"As long as husband and wife are together, everything is fine. But when a third person enters the relationship, things turn ugly," she said.
Sunita maintained that she has never hidden her feelings and has always spoken openly about her experiences.
"I speak the truth," she said.
Marriage under spotlight again
Sunita's revelations come at a time when rumours about trouble in her marriage to Govinda continue to circulate online.
The couple married in 1987 and are among Bollywood's longest-standing celebrity couples. Over the years, they have often projected a united front publicly, but Sunita's latest comments have once again brought their relationship into the spotlight.
