Music composer and keyboardist Stephen Devassy shared a heartfelt note on social media, recounting an emotional reunion with Pattathiyar, the beloved caretaker who looked after him during his childhood days.

In his touching Instagram post, Stephen spoke about visiting her again after many years and the joy of spending time with someone who had been part of his family for over five decades.
 

“We fondly call her Pattathiyar. She looked after me when I was a child. She was the one who used to bathe me until a certain age. I met her yesterday after quite a long time. She was even there for my parents' wedding. She has been with our family for more than 50 years. We were all caught up in the excitement of sharing childhood memories. I’m truly happy I got to spend some time with her,” Stephen wrote.

Alongside his note, he also posted photos and a video of him sitting and chatting with Pattathiyar on the verandah of their old ancestral home. The post has touched the hearts of many, with comments pouring in from followers who were moved by the emotional bond between the two.
