The much-awaited rap track from the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Haal’ is out. Titled ‘Nilapad’, the song is performed by lead actor Shane Nigam alongside Vineeth Beep Kumar, the popular comedian known from Jordindian. The number is composed by Nandagopan V, with lyrics by Bins and Abhi, while Manu Hassan directed the music video.

‘Haal’, helmed by debutant director Veera, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on September 19. Featuring Shane Nigam in what is described as the biggest-budget film of his career, the movie introduces Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead.

The ensemble cast includes Johny Antony, Vineeth Beepkumar, K Madhupal, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Joy Mathew, Nishanth Sagar, Niyas Backer, Riyaz Narmakala, Suresh Krishna, Raveendran, Sohan Seenulal, Manoj KU, Unni Raja, and Sreedhanya in key roles. The film is set for a simultaneous release in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Adding to the buzz, acclaimed Bollywood playback singer Ankit Tiwari is making his Malayalam debut through this project.

Backed by JVJ Productions, the film is scripted by Nishad Koya, known for hits including ‘Ordinary’, ‘Madhura Naranga’, ‘Thoppil Joppan’ and ‘Shikkari Shambhu’. Cinematography is by Ravi Chandran, while Think Music serves as the official music partner. The project reportedly completed a 90-day shoot.

Ahead of its release, ‘Haal’ has already gathered momentum with its first-look poster, motion poster, character posters, a song announcement, and a release-date reveal.
