Paramount Pictures has released the first official look at ‘Children of Blood and Bone’, offering audiences an early glimpse of the upcoming fantasy epic directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Adapted from Tomi Adeyemi's bestselling novel, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas across India in January 2027.
The first-look images introduce the expansive world of Orïsha, where magic has been stripped away from its people under a ruthless regime. Bringing Adeyemi's acclaimed fantasy universe to the big screen, the film promises a large-scale adventure centred on resistance, hope and the fight to restore a lost legacy.
A journey to reclaim stolen magic
Set in the mythical kingdom of Orïsha, ‘Children of Blood and Bone’ follows a young woman determined to bring magic back to her people after it was violently taken from them. Alongside her brother, she forms an unlikely alliance with the king's daughter and son as they challenge the oppressive rule that has shaped their world.
