The film, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, establishes the tone with gritty images, high-stakes action, and an international flair. About the teaser: The teaser doesn't divulge much about the plot or the characters played by Khan and Dutt. In the one-minute-long video, Khan, dressed in a chic white suit, exudes confidence and coolness, while Dutt makes a stunning entrance brandishing a revolver and projecting an authoritative and menacing presence. An earlier leaked video showed Salman in a khaki uniform navigating the crowded streets of Mumbai in an autorickshaw, hinting at the movie's possible Indian setting. According to reports, Dutt will portray a strong figure whose tale is set in Shanghai.
About the production: With a projected budget of more than $40 million, ‘The Seven Dogs’—which was once thought to be Khan's Hollywood debut—has been confirmed as a significant Saudi production. Powerhouses of Arab cinema Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, who reunited following their hit Kira & El Gin, also feature in the movie.
The movie, which is set against a backdrop of international crime, supposedly centers on Interpol investigator Khalid Al-Azzazi (Ezz), who apprehends Ghali Abu Dawood (Aziz), a senior member of the infamous 7 Dogs syndicate.
