Suniel Shetty shared a heartwarming story about granddaughter Evaarah, revealing that the 15-month-old offers a laddoo to PM Narendra Modi's photo every morning

Suniel Shetty never misses an opportunity to speak about the newest little star of his family. The actor, who often gushes over granddaughter Evaarah, recently shared another heartwarming story that has caught everyone's attention.
In excerpts from a recent interview with Times Now, Suniel revealed that Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's 15-month-old daughter has a unique morning ritual involving a photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking about the incident, Suniel said, "I have always said I am a huge fan of him. I am not talking about a party. I am talking about a leader. If a leader excites me, he excites me. As much as I love my country, I love my man."
He went on to explain how the habit began.
"My granddaughter is 15 months old. Once, at the airport, one of her nannies told her about Modi ji. Now, every morning, she opens a Sai Baba book which also has a photo of Modi ji."
The actor added that Evaarah then picks up a laddoo kept near the Ganpati idol at home and offers it to the photograph while saying, "Modi ji."
Suniel was quick to clarify that nobody in the family encouraged the toddler to do this.
"She takes a laddoo from the Ganpati idol and offers it to the photograph. I did not ask her to do this, nor did her parents. There is something about him. There is something magical," he said in the interview with Times Now.
Evaarah was born on March 24, 2025, to Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul. The couple later revealed her name on Rahul's birthday, sharing that Evaarah means "Gift of God." Since welcoming their daughter, the couple has largely kept her away from the spotlight, occasionally sharing glimpses of family life without revealing her face.
Suniel has often spoken about the happiness Evaarah has brought into the family. In an earlier interaction, he had even described his granddaughter as "Athiya 2.0," saying she reminds him closely of his daughter.
