Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Salman Khan was seen visiting his father, sparking concern among fans awaiting updates on his health.

Mumbai: Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, 90, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai, on Tuesday. The reason for his hospitalisation has not been officially disclosed, and the family has not yet made any public statement.
Visuals shared by paparazzi showed actor Salman Khan arriving at the hospital to visit his father. Dressed casually and accompanied by security, the actor was seen entering the medical facility.
Other family members, including Alvira Khan Agnihotri and actor Aayush Sharma were also seen reaching the hospital.
The veteran writer lives at Galaxy Apartments, located close to Lilavati Hospital.
Salim Khan is one of Bollywood’s most respected writers and is widely known as one half of the iconic Salim–Javed screenplay duo.
Together they wrote several iconic films that went on to become classics, including Sholay, Zanjeer, and Deewar. Their storytelling style and powerful character writing are widely credited with shaping the “angry young man” era in Bollywood and influencing generations of filmmakers and writers.
He is also the father of actors Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Sohail Khan.
