The hilarious trailer of the Saiju Kurup starrer 'Porattu Nadakam', presented by director Siddique and directed by Noushad Saffron is released. The trailer was released through the social media handles of Megastar Mammootty's production company MammoottyKampany. The trailer features a calf named 'Manikutty', who introduces the characters and the film's premise to the audience. The film is touted to be a political satire revolving around the current socio-political incidents. The teaser is funny and hard-hitting at the same time, promising a wholesome entertainer with ample social commentary. Porattu Nadakam is made under the supervision of the late director Siddique. The teaser and songs of the film had garnered attention. The film is set to release on 18th October in theatres worldwide.

The film is produced by Vijayan Pallikkara under the banner of Emirates Productions. The screenplay of the film is written by Suneesh varanad, known for his films such as 'Mohanlal' and 'Eesho', and is also the 2023 Kerala Sahithya Akademi Award winner in the best humour category.
