The teaser for ‘Porattu Nadakam’, a film brimming with wit and satire, has been unveiled. Presented by the late director Siddique, fondly remembered as the 'Sultan of Laughter' in Malayalam cinema, this much-anticipated movie will hit theatres on October 18.

Scriptwriter Suneesh Varanad shared the teaser on social media, cheekily captioning it, "The story and characters in this movie are fictional. Any resemblance to real-life events or persons is purely coincidental, but if you feel otherwise, it's a coincidence."

‘Porattu Nadakam’ is directed by Noushad Saffron, who previously served as Siddique's assistant. The late Siddique supervised the filming, adding a special touch to the project.

Songs from the film, which have already gained traction on YouTube, have further piqued audience interest.

Produced by Vijayan Pallikkara under the Emirates Productions banner, ‘Porattu Nadakam’ is scripted by Suneesh Varanad, who is known for his work on ‘Mohanlal’ and ‘Eesho’. Suneesh recently received the prestigious Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Humour in 2024, reinforcing his reputation as a master of satire. The film's music is composed by Rahul Raj, and notably, a cow named Manikutty plays a significant role alongside Saiju Kurup.

The film's ensemble cast includes popular actors such as Saiju Kurup, Rahul Madhav, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Sunil Sukhada, and several other, each portraying a variety of colourful roles.

The film is co-produced by Gayathri Vijayan, with Nazar Vengara serving as the executive producer.
