Kochi: In a startling development, Sunil NS alias Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the 2017 actress assault case, has made explosive claims implicating actor Dileep, the eighth accused in the case. According to Suni, Dileep was the mastermind behind the assault, offering a sum of Rs. 1.5 crore for the assault. Suni also said that he is still owed Rs. 80 lakh for carrying out the assault.

The claims were made by Suni before the media as the legal proceedings in the case neared their final stages. In his disclosure, Suni confessed that he was ordered to record the assault, which became the key piece of evidence in the investigation. He further claimed that he had informed the actress about his intentions before carrying out the crime. In exchange, the actress promised to pay him money if he set her free. Reflecting on his decision, Suni claimed that if he had accepted the bribe, he would have escaped jail.

Suni’s allegations shed light on a deep-rooted enmity between the accused and the actress. He claimed that the motive behind the assault was revenge, alleging that the actress had "destroyed" Dileep's family. Suni also said that he was under Dileep's surveillance during the assault, with some people even knowing about the plans in real time. 

The footage, which was recorded by Suni on his mobile phone, is major evidence that brings the case to light. However, Suni has refused to reveal the location of the phone, he claimed that he has the phone in his possession. 

In his latest statements, Suni also hinted at having assaulted other actresses in the past, though he did not provide further details or context for those claims.
