A new Kerala High Court bench will hear the survivor's plea for a cyber forensic-led fresh probe into the unauthorised access of the case's key memory card evidence.

Kochi (Kerala): The High Court bench of Justice Kauser Edappagath is scheduled to hear a petition on Wednesday filed by the survivor in the actor assault case, seeking a fresh investigation into the unauthorised access of the memory card while it was in court custody.
The memory card serves as a crucial piece of evidence in the case involving the assault and recording of derogatory footage of the actor. The matter was shifted to the new bench after the judge previously assigned to the case, Justice Jobin Sebastian, recused himself from the hearing. In her petition, the actor has requested a high-level probe supervised by the High Court, to be conducted by a special investigation team that includes cyber forensic experts.
