Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit has already witnessed one major casting change, with Triptii Dimri stepping in for Deepika Padukone as the female lead opposite Prabhas. On Sunday, speculation swirled that veteran actor Prakash Raj had also exited the project, reportedly due to creative differences with the director.

According to reports, a disagreement arose over the execution of a scene and aspects of the script while shooting was in progress. However, as per an HT City report, Prakash Raj has dismissed the rumours entirely, telling the media outlet, ‘These reports are completely unfounded. I have not stepped away from the film and remain fully involved.’

Prakash’s involvement was further evident in the promotional sound story released by the Spirit team on social media in October last year, which featured his voiceover.

Spirit is anticipated to be one of the biggest films in the near future, marking the first collaboration between director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas. The project has already generated considerable excitement, with the first look released in December 2025 attracting widespread attention. Actor Vivek Oberoi is also confirmed as part of the ensemble cast, adding further star power to the highly anticipated venture.

With production underway, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates, and Prakash Raj’s confirmation provides reassurance that the high-profile project remains on track.
