
After a year-long hiatus, Dulquer Salmaan has made a return to the big screen as the lead in "Lucky Baskhar," which was released in theatres worldwide . The film, directed by Venky Atluri, has garnered positive reviews across multiple languages, depicting the life of a bank employee.
Meenakshi Chaudhary stars opposite Dulquer as the female lead. The actress, who has gained attention across South India through her limited filmography, recently played the female lead in "GOAT," alongside Vijay.

During an interview with Reelwoods Media, Dulquer shared his thoughts on Meenakshi's impressive background. He noted that she comes from an army family and remains positive despite having lost her father in 2018. Meenakshi is also a practising dentist, and Dulquer remarked on her ability to balance her professional and acting commitments.
Dulquer described Meenakshi as someone who exemplifies army discipline, always punctual on set and demonstrating a strong work ethic. He expressed admiration for her ease in portraying the role of a mother, stating, "I can't imagine anyone else in the role of Sumathi now."

He highlighted that despite the challenges of taking on such a role, Meenakshi exhibited no signs of hesitation. "From the first day she arrived dressed as Sumathi, we were convinced of her fit for the character. Now, I find it hard to envision anyone else in that role," he added.
Dulquer concluded by praising Meenakshi's attitude, emphasising that she never complained about the demanding nature of her role. "This is a full-length role for her, and she has embraced it wholeheartedly," he said. (With inputs from Agencies)
