Actor Nivin Pauly has revealed that he will reprise his role as SI Biju Paulose in the second instalment of the super hit film 'Action Hero Biju'. 

Action Hero Biju, directed by Abrid Shine, was released in 2016. Following the film's success, there were rumours that the makers were planning a second instalment. 

Nivin Pauly announced the sequel to the film in a social media post on Monday. 

The plot revolves around SI Biju Poulose and the cops who oversee everyday operations at a police station in Kochi. The film was a commercial success and received critical acclaim for depicting various challenges cops face in the state.
