Actor Nivin Pauly recorded his statement in Vaikom Court in the alleged forgery case over the ‘Action Hero Biju 2’ film title.

Vaikom: Actor Nivin Pauly recorded his statement in the Vaikom court on Monday in connection with a complaint that his co-producer allegedly forged a signature to obtain the title of the film 'Action Hero Biju-2'. Nivin arrived at the Vaikom Judicial First Class Magistrate Court around 3:45 pm.
The statement was taken in a closed-door session. Nivin had earlier filed a complaint against PS Shamnas of Thalayolaparambu, the co-producer of 'Mahaveeryar', accusing him of securing the 'Action Hero Biju-2' title by forging a signature. The court later directed Nivin to furnish additional evidence, and he appeared on Monday to comply with that order.
Meanwhile, Shamnas had filed a counter-complaint with the Thalayolaparambu police in July against Nivin Pauly and director Abrid Shine, alleging that they concealed the receipt of money from him and handed over the distribution rights of 'Action Hero Biju-2' to another party. The police subsequently registered a case against both under a non-bailable section.
