A formal complaint has been lodged against renowned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna at the Madhapur Police Station by an NGO head on Saturday.

Kasireddy Bhaskar Reddy, the head of the anti-corruption NGO Janam Kosam, who filed the complaint alleged that Nagarjuna engaged in criminal practices by occupying Tummidikunta Lake and constructing a structure– N-Convention Centre on the site. 

This comes despite Nagarjuna having a court stay that supports his claims regarding his convention centre, which was demolished earlier by the HYDRAA, operating under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. 

Moreover, Nagarjuna is currently involved in a separate legal battle, having filed a criminal and defamation suit against Minister Konda Surekha for her allegations made against his family over his son's divorce.
