‘Turbo Jose’ and his men are accelerating towards success at the box office as the Mammootty-starrer movie has entered the 50 crore club, as announced by the producers, Mammootty Kampany. This milestone marks ‘Turbo’ as the second Mammootty film to achieve this feat this year. ‘Turbo’ is the fifth film produced under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.

Written by Mithun Manuel Thomas and directed by Vysakh, ‘Turbo’ hit theaters on May 23. With  massive chase and action sequences, the film swiftly raced into the 50 crore club within just four days of release, with a global collection of Rs 52.11 crores. The filmmakers have expressed their gratitude to the loyal audience for their unwavering support.

‘Turbo’ follows the success of ‘Bramayugam’ as the second Mammootty film to join the 50 crore club this year. With a first-day global collection of Rs 17.3 crores across 70 countries, the film also set a new record for the biggest opening day collection for a Malayalam film in Saudi Arabia. In Kerala alone, it garnered Rs 6.2 crores on opening day, marking the highest opening day collection of the year.

The film revolves around the story of Jose, a jeep driver, with notable performances from Kannada actor Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil alongside Mammootty. The background score is by Christo Xavier and team, and the action sequences are directed by Phoenix Prabhu.
