The Mohanlal-starrer Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, has achieved a major milestone, with its total business crossing ₹325 crore globally, according to the film's production team. Mohanlal himself first shared the news via social media, along with a new poster featuring Prithviraj, Mohanlal, Gokulam Gopalan, Antony Perumbavoor, and Murali Gopy.

The film, which entered the ₹200 crore club within just five days of its release, is now setting new records in the history of Malayalam cinema.

"A cinematic moment etched in history. We dreamed it with you; we built it with you. Malayalam cinema shines brighter today — together," Mohanlal wrote in a heartfelt message shared online. The poster celebrating the film’s massive success has been warmly received by fans, sparking widespread celebration.

Empuraan began screening from 6:00 AM on March 27. It has been jointly produced under the banners of Sree Gokulam Movies, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Lyca Productions by Gokulam Gopalan, Antony Perumbavoor, and Subaskaran. Written by Murali Gopy, the film is also notable for being the first IMAX release in the history of Malayalam cinema.

The film features Mohanlal in the lead role and boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Andrea Tivadar, Baiju and Saikumar.

Empuraan continues to dominate the box office and elevate the profile of Malayalam cinema on a global scale.
