Madhav Suresh, son of veteran actor and Union Minister Suresh Gopi, is gradually carving out his space in the Malayalam film industry. While still new to the world of acting, Madhav is no stranger to the spotlight.

In an interview with Milestone Makers, the young actor reflected on his ties with some of Malayalam cinema’s most prominent families, particularly the households of actors Dileep and Jayaram. Madhav described their relationships as more than just friendly; they’re practically family.

“Parvathy Jayaram is like a sister to my father. We call her ‘Appachi.’ Our families have stood by each other in every phase of life,” Madhav shared.

He also spoke about his admiration for actor Dileep, recalling how ‘CID Moosa’ made a lasting impression on him as a child. “I must have been four or five years old. I’d keep watching ‘CID Moosa’ over and over, and I still don’t get tired of it. Dileep Uncle was my first favourite actor,” he said.

“He’s the most versatile performer I know. Whether it’s comedy or drama, he delivers every time. Thirty-four consecutive hits, no one has matched that in Malayalam cinema, not even the superstars,” he added.

Madhav said his bond with Dileep’s family goes beyond admiration. He recounted a memory involving Kavya Madhavan, whom he affectionately called Kavya Chechi. “Kavya Chechi once spoke about a childhood incident involving me on the show hosted by my father. And because of that, Kavya Chechi will always have a soft spot for me,” he revealed, without sharing further details.

But what truly stirred online conversations was Madhav’s candid take on his friendship with Dileep’s daughter Meenakshi. A viral social media post once sparked speculation that the two were dating.

Addressing the online buzz around his friendship with Dileep’s daughter Meenakshi, Madhav clarified the nature of their relationship. “I call her my social media wife. We joke about it,” he said. “She’s a very good friend of mine. She has a very calm nature, unlike me. Many of my friends are calm like that. Both of us are 25 years old. We don’t care about these kinds of gossip, they just make for fun.”

Meenakshi, the daughter of Dileep and his former wife Manju Warrier, is a doctor by profession. Her dance videos often make waves online, prompting fans to wonder if she’ll eventually step into the entertainment world like her parents.

Madhav Suresh will next be seen in ‘JSK,’ a courtroom thriller directed by Pravin Narayanan, where he stars alongside his father, Suresh Gopi. The film features Suresh Gopi in the role of a lawyer and marks Anupama Parameswaran’s return to Malayalam cinema after a brief hiatus. The ensemble cast also includes Divya Pillai, Shruti Ramachandran, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Joy Mathew, Jai Vishnu, and Kottayam Ramesh.
