Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep was left devastated as he mourned the passing of his mother, Saroja Sanjeev, who died on Sunday morning. She was 86.

Saroja had been receiving treatment for age-related complications at Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar. Her last rites were conducted at their residence in JP Nagar, Bengaluru.

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai, visited Sudeep to pay his respects and offer condolences. The politician shared poignant moments on X (formerly Twitter), where he was seen comforting Sudeep, who was inconsolable in his grief. Pictures from the visit captured Sudeep breaking down in Bommai's embrace as he struggled to cope with his loss.

The actor was seen leaning near his mother's body, visibly shaken while receiving support from loved ones. Bommai, who had a close relationship with Sudeep’s father, Sanjeev Saroovar, also shared photos from his visit, highlighting the bond between the families during this difficult time.
