Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will meet his Karnataka counterpart on Sunday at 9.30 am. Kerala CM’s meeting with Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai at Bengaluru has been scheduled for primary discussions over the proposal to extend the SilverLine project to Karnataka. 

Kerala had put forward the suggestion to extend the semi high-speed rail to Karnataka at the southern zonal council at Kovalam. 

Discussions will be held over the launch of Thalassery- Mysuru and Nilambur- Nanjangud rail routes. 

Following the meeting, Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the CPM conference and rally at 12 pm in Bagepalli.
