Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are reportedly set to welcome their first child later this year. According to a report by NDTV, sources close to the couple confirmed that the baby is due between October and November. The actors, however, have not issued any official announcement.

Rumours about Kaif’s pregnancy have been circulating for several months, fuelled by her absence from public events and limited appearances on social media. NDTV’s report also said the actor plans to take a lengthy maternity break following the birth as she wishes to be a hands-on mother.

Vicky Kaushal’s past reaction

Speculation around the couple’s personal life had surfaced earlier this year, when Kaif was spotted in loose clothing while out with Kaushal. Similar rumours had arisen during the trailer launch of Kaushal’s film ‘Bad Newz’. At the event, when asked about the buzz, he responded, “As far as the good news is concerned (the couple being pregnant), we will be very happy to share it with you, but for now, there is no truth to the speculations. Abhi Bad Newz enjoy kijiye, jab good news ayega toh hum aapke saath zarur share karenge.”

Viral Reddit post

The gossip mill gained traction again a few months ago when a Reddit post featuring the couple’s photo, baby footprints and a caption reading, “In 2025, we become a family of three” went viral. The post also suggested that the baby would arrive in late 2025. At the time, it was widely dismissed as fan-made content, since neither Kaif nor Kaushal addressed it publicly.

Their journey so far

Kaif and Kaushal tied the knot in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends. Since then, the couple have frequently shared glimpses of their life together on social media, delighting fans with posts marking anniversaries and festive occasions.

Professionally, Kaushal is riding high on the success of ‘Chhaava’, which has emerged as one of the year’s top box-office performers. He is currently filming ‘Love & War’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Kaif was last seen in ‘Merry Christmas’, opposite Vijay Sethupathi.
