Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has appealed for privacy and understanding from the media and paparazzi, as she and her family navigate a deeply challenging period. In a statement shared on social media, Kareena acknowledged the overwhelming support from fans but made a strong request for the media to respect their space during this sensitive time.

"It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage," Kareena said in her message.

The actress further emphasized that while the family appreciated the concern and support they had received, the continuous media attention and scrutiny were not only emotionally draining but also posed a safety risk.

"I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family," she added.

Kareena concluded her message with a note of gratitude, thanking the public for their understanding and cooperation during this delicate period.

Kareena's husband and actor Saif Ali Khan was injured after a robber broke into his and wife Kareena Kapoor’s residence in Bandra (West) around 2:30 am on Thursday. The actor, who was sleeping at the time along with his family members, was reportedly stabbed during the intrusion. He is currently undergoing treatment for his injury.
