Thiruvananthapuram: Director Hariharan has been selected for the JC Daniel Award, the highest honour in Malayalam cinema. He was bestowed with the award for his comprehensive contribution to the film industry.
The award comprises of a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, a citation and plaque.
The jury was chaired by writer MT Vasudevan Nair.
