Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Film Awards 2024 will be presented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the Nishagandhi Auditorium here. The ceremony, scheduled for 6.30 pm, will be presided over by Culture Minister Saji Cherian.

Veteran actress Sarada will receive the prestigious J C Daniel Award, the highest film honour of the Kerala government, from the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister will present awards to 51 film personalities, including Mammootty, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Vedan, Shamla Hamza, Lijomol Jose, Jyothirmayi, Soubin Shahir, Siddharth Bharathan, Chidambaram, Fazil Muhammed, Sushin Shyam, Sameera Saneesh and Sayanora Philip.

Ministers V Sivankutty, Adv G R Anil and Adv V K Prashanth MLA, Thiruvananthapuram Mayor V V Rajesh, District Panchayat President V Priyadarshini, Additional Chief Secretary (Cultural Department) Dr Rajan N Khobragade IAS, Cultural Department Director Dr Divya S Iyer IAS, jury chairperson Prakash Raj, writing department jury chairperson Madhu Eravankara, Chalachitra Academy chairperson Dr Rasool Pookutty, KSFDC chairperson K Madhu, Cultural Workers Welfare Fund Board chairperson Madhupal, Chalachitra Academy vice-chairperson Kukku Parameswaran, Secretary C Ajoy and others will attend the function.

A musical programme by playback singers K S Harishankar and Seba Tomy will follow the award presentation ceremony.
