On Monday, Tech Informer published a report, drawing from estimates by MyJar Blog, which placed Tanmay Bhat at the top of India’s richest YouTubers list. According to the report, his net worth is estimated at ₹665 crore. Following him, the second spot was held by Technical Guruji with a reported net worth of ₹356 crore, while Samay Raina and other content creators were also featured.

How did Tanmay respond?

Tanmay reacted to the claim on social media, responding in the comment section of a post by RVCJ Media on X. He jokingly wrote, “If I had that much money, would I not be selling YouTube memberships.”

According to the same report, other creators rounding out the top five include Bhuvan Bam (BB Ki Vines) with ₹122 crore, Amit Bhadana with ₹80 crore, Triggered Insaan with ₹65 crore, Dhruv Rathee with ₹60 crore, Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) with ₹58 crore, and Sourav Joshi with ₹50 crore.

Who is Tanmay Bhat?

Tanmay Bhat is a comedian, entrepreneur, and writer, who co-founded the iconic comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB) in 2012 with Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi, and Ashish Shakya. The collective became a cultural sensation with its roasts and political satire, most notably the viral AIB Knockout featuring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
