Netflix reality show Lock Upp 2 has landed in the middle of an online discussion after eagle-eyed viewers pointed out what they believe is a continuity mistake in one of its latest episodes.

A clip from the show has gone viral, with fans claiming Shivangi Joshi's hairstyle changes midway through what appears to be the same argument, leading many to question how the sequence was edited.

The scene in question features a tense confrontation between Shivangi Joshi and Shilpa Shinde. At the beginning of the exchange, Shivangi is seen with her hair tied up in a bun. However, within moments, while the conversation appears to continue without interruption, she is suddenly seen sporting a ponytail. The apparent switch quickly caught viewers' attention, with screenshots and videos of the moment spreading across social media.

The viral clip has fuelled speculation about the show's editing process. While some viewers described it as a simple continuity slip, others wondered whether parts of the reality series had been rearranged in the edit, reigniting the long-running debate over how much of reality television is carefully pieced together after filming.

The timing of the viral moment is significant as Shivangi and Shilpa's rivalry has become one of the biggest talking points of the current season. Their relationship inside the house has steadily deteriorated over the past few episodes, with several confrontations centred on Shivangi's personal life and her friendship with fellow contestant Harshad Chopda.

The latest clash came after Shilpa allegedly made repeated remarks about Shivangi's personal life, including claims linking her romantically to several of her former co-stars, among them Kushal Tandon.

She also made comments involving Harshad Chopda. The controversy intensified after wildcard contestant Apoorva Mukhija informed Shivangi about remarks Shilpa had allegedly made behind her back regarding her character and virginity, leading to an emotional confrontation inside the house.

During the heated exchange, Shivangi accused Shilpa of slut-shaming her and objected to repeated comments about her personal relationships. The argument soon became one of the most talked-about moments of the season.

Now, the focus has shifted from the argument itself to the show's editing. Neither the makers of Lock Upp 2 nor Netflix has responded to the viral claims.
