Lock Upp Season 2 has found itself at the centre of another controversy after a clip featuring Shilpa Shinde and Shreya Kalra went viral on social media. In the video, the two contestants are seen imitating fellow housemate Shivangi Joshi while chatting among themselves, with one particular remark drawing criticism from viewers.

The moment unfolds after Shilpa and Shreya notice Shivangi Joshi talking to fellow contestant Harshad Chopda from a distance.

As they watch the two interact, Shilpa begins mimicking Shivangi's manner of speaking. During the imitation, she says:

"Oh man, mere paas toh koi secret hi nahi hai. Kitna act karun? Main bahut innocent hoon. Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Main virgin hoon. Main shaadi ke baad hi karungi."

(Oh man! I don't have any secret. How much should I keep acting? I am very innocent. I don't want anything. I am a virgin. I will do it only after marriage.)

Shreya Kalra soon joined in, pretending to be Harshad Chopda.

She jokingly said, "Shivangi, tum kya soch rahi ho?" before switching back to imitate Shivangi's response.

"Pata nahi. Lekin jab yeh secret reveal hoga na, tab main bahut hasungi. Kyunki isme tha hi kuch nahi."

(I don't know. But when that secret is revealed, I'll laugh because there was nothing to it.)

The exchange appeared to be an attempt by the two contestants to entertain themselves while watching Shivangi and Harshad converse.

Viewers react online

The clip has since sparked mixed reactions across social media.

Several viewers criticised the mimicry, particularly the comment about Shivangi's virginity, calling it unnecessary. Others recalled an earlier episode in which Shilpa Shinde had advised Shivangi to spend less time talking to Harshad Chopda, a moment that many online users had also labelled as bullying.

Some fans also expressed disappointment that Shivangi did not respond to the comments more strongly, saying they wished she had stood up for herself instead of remaining silent.
