Anupama Parameswaran, who made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Premam, has since become one of the busiest actresses in South Indian cinema. While she has also made her presence felt in Tamil films, it is Tollywood that has provided her with substantial opportunities and a growing fan base.

However, Anupama’s affection for Premam and Malayalam cinema remains special. Recently, in an interview with Vogue India, she shared her love for her debut film and the Malayalam film industry. Speaking candidly, she discussed various aspects of her life, including relationships and her personal preferences.

When asked about relationships, Anupama revealed that the phrase "I love you forever.." is the biggest lie in the world, stating that it is something that will never happen. She also offered advice to those in toxic relationships, simply advising them to "run."

Anupama also shared her personal preferences, revealing that her favourite song is "Aluva puzhayude theerathu" from Premam. She enjoys listening to this song whenever she is happy. When feeling mentally drained, Anupama often turns to Premam as the film she most desires to watch. She also mentioned enjoying the introduction scenes of her character in the films she’s acted in, and also the songs of her movies. She also revealed that she is a big fan of the introduction scene of Sai Pallavi (as lecturer Malar) in Premam.

On the food front, Anupama’s all-time favourite dish is her mother’s homemade rice and chammanthi (a traditional coconut chutney). She also shared that her preferred outfit is a white shirt paired with blue jeans. Additionally, Anupama revealed that she always tries to avoid using her phone first thing in the morning.

Asked what she would do on the last day of her life, Anupama’s response was simple yet heartfelt: she would eat her favourite food in whatever quantity she desired.

Anupama Parameswaran continues to win hearts with her down-to-earth personality and genuine affection for her roots, even as she carves a successful career in the larger film industries of South India.
