Diagnosed with cancer in 2018, which has now progressed to stage 4, the actor shared her images on Instagram.

Veteran Indian actor and former politician Nafisa Ali has once again inspired many by sharing candid moments from her ongoing battle with cancer. Diagnosed with stage 3 peritoneal and ovarian cancer in 2018, which has now progressed to stage 4, the 67-year-old continues to document her journey with remarkable honesty and optimism.
Taking to Instagram recently, Nafisa posted new images of herself undergoing chemotherapy, revealing her bald look—a result of the treatment. Sporting a yellow gingham top and brown trousers, she appeared composed and radiant, captioning the post simply, “Positive Power.”
In a separate post shared just days earlier, she offered a glimpse into the physical effects of chemotherapy, showing a comb filled with her falling hair. “Here go my chemotherapy locks... Soon, I’ll be bald,” she wrote, candidly acknowledging the emotional and physical toll of treatment.
In an earlier heartwarming post, Nafisa shared a series of images and videos featuring her young grandchildren gently helping her cut her hair. Captioning it, “Finally, my little grandchildren helped me with my hair fall,” the actor highlighted the emotional strength she draws from her family.
Nafisa was first diagnosed in November 2018 and recovered after undergoing treatment in 2019. However, she has since revealed that the cancer has returned. With surgery no longer an option, she has resumed chemotherapy to manage the disease.
Her open, resilient approach to illness and recovery continues to garner widespread support and admiration on social media.
