Perumbavoor: Leelamani Amma of 80 years from Aimury is delighted to have realised one of her biggest wishes in life. She met Mohanlal, touched him and spoke to him. Mohanlal even hugged her. Leelamani Amma had the opportunity to fulfill her wish and meet Mohanlal during the shooting of ‘Drishyam-3’ that took place at Aimury Thiruhridaya Church.

After hearing that the shoot was in progress, Leelamani Amma arrived at the location with her grandson, Syam Krishna, dressed in a newly purchased set saree. The area was crowded. No one was allowed to enter the altar where the filming was happening. Most people watched Mohanlal from afar and left. Leelamani Amma continued to wait. She told the film crew that she would return only after seeing him.

Finally, at 5 pm, Mohanlal reached her side after learning that she had been waiting. While asking about her well-being and family, Mohanlal hugged her when she asked ‘Shall I touch you once’. Leelamani Amma said she wished to sing a song she had written about him, but she could not do so due to the lack of time.

A devoted admirer of Mohanlal, Leelamani Amma watches all his films repeatedly on television. Her favourite film is ‘Aaraam Thampuran’. The last movie she watched with her children was ‘Thudarum’. She has watched both parts of Drishyam and is eagerly waiting for the third part.
