Social media influencer Diya Krishna recently shared a heartfelt vlog capturing the moment she gave birth to her baby boy. In an emotional social media post, dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi lauded Diya’s family for the immense love and support they showed throughout the childbirth.

“Diya has had the good fortune to have the incredible support and love of her parents, husband and sisters during childbirth,” she said.

She reflected on how different the experience was for many women in the past, “Earlier, pregnant women often felt scared and alone while giving birth in the delivery room. When they screamed in pain during labour, some nurses would make fun of them. Only another woman could truly understand the intense mental pressure they went through at that time. They would feel some relief only when they finally saw their family.”

Bhagyalakshmi went on to say, “I don’t even remember how many times I’ve watched Diya’s delivery vlog. She gave birth with so much love and support from her family around her, and both she and her baby are truly lucky to have had that. I couldn’t stop my tears while watching the way her parents, husband, and sisters stood by her during those moments. It’s the kind of support many of us were never lucky enough to have.

‘Some people may never understand what this means’

She also addressed those who might brush off the emotional intensity of childbirth.

“Those who do not understand their mothers, sisters or daughters would dismiss it as a mere natural process,” she said.

“In that video, we saw so many emotions… of a daughter, a wife, and sisters. I truly admire that family. I couldn’t hold back my tears either when they cried with happiness. I sincerely wish them all the best. My good wishes to Krishnakumar and his family,” she said.
