Rumours surrounding actors Anupama Parameswaran and Dhruv Vikram have taken a dramatic turn after reports claimed the pair, who have long been linked romantically by fans, were involved in a heated confrontation at a Chennai hotel. Some Telugu media reports have even alleged that the actress struck Dhruv with a slipper during the argument before ending their reported relationship.

According to multiple media reports, the alleged incident took place inside a hotel room in Chennai after the actors, reportedly in a relationship for nearly three years, had a serious disagreement.

The reports claim Anupama confronted Dhruv over his behaviour, leading to an argument that escalated. Some Telugu media outlets further alleged that she hit the actor with a slipper before ending the relationship. It has also been claimed that the two left the hotel separately following the confrontation.

On another occasion, Anupama referred to him as her "2 AM call", while she also reshared one of Dhruv's selfies with a heart emoji on social media.

Despite the growing buzz, the actors never publicly addressed the dating rumours.

Instagram return reignites breakup speculation

The rumours gathered momentum after Anupama recently returned to Instagram following a lengthy absence from the platform.

While her posts largely featured cheerful moments and personal photographs, it was the captions that caught fans' attention. Many interpreted them as hints about a personal turning point.

In one post, she wrote, "Oooops!!!!!! Sorry for the photo dump. Turns out, when you don’t have to wait for approvals, a song selection, or someone else’s caption… posting becomes a lot more fun."

She later added, "Sometimes, you have to let go of the dead ends to finally find your peace. And today, peace found me."

She also shared an Instagram Story explaining the meaning of "accountability" before adding, "For people who don't know. Or constantly escape."

Although the actress did not mention anyone by name, many social media users connected the messages with the rumours surrounding Dhruv and speculated that they hinted at a breakup.
