Global K-pop superstars BTS have unveiled the cities and dates for their long-awaited 2026–27 world tour, marking their first full-group tour since their 2022 hiatus.

BTS have officially confirmed their largest-ever world tour, spanning 34 regions and 79 shows across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia. The tour will coincide with the release of the group’s new studio album on March 20, 2026 — their first full-length group album in nearly four years.
While India has not been included in the initial list of tour stops, anticipation among Indian fans is particularly high this time, with many closely tracking future announcements.

The tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, aimed at creating a fully immersive concert experience and allowing higher audience capacity at venues.
With 79 shows planned, it is set to become the most extensive global tour ever undertaken by a South Korean artist.
Industry observers see the tour as a major cultural moment following BTS’ return from military service.

BTS’ return after military service
The tour marks BTS’ official return as a full group after all seven members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service in 2025. During the hiatus, each member released solo projects while continuing preparations for a group comeback.
Analysts expect the album and tour to significantly shape the global K-pop landscape in 2026. BTS return to an industry that has expanded rapidly during their absence, making this comeback one of the most closely watched in recent years.
