Seoul: BTS fans can finally celebrate as the K-pop sensation confirmed their return with a new album, set to release on March 20, 2026. This marks the group’s first collective project in nearly four years, ending a hiatus during which members completed their mandatory military service.
The upcoming album will be BTS’ first since Proof, released in June 2022, which served as a prelude to the group’s break. Now, the seven members of the Bulletproof Boy Scouts are ready to reunite for a full-scale comeback.
The announcement first appeared in South Korean media outlets before BigHit Music confirmed it with a post on its official X account. In keeping with BTS’ personal approach to connecting with their ARMY, the members had already sent handwritten letters to fans with the release date “2026.3.20,” offering a glimpse of the excitement and emotion behind their reunion.
RM, the group’s leader, expressed his anticipation in one of the letters, writing that he had been “waiting for this moment more desperately than anyone,” reflecting the deep emotional investment of the members in their long-awaited return.
