Mumbai: While the Diwali episode of Bigg Boss 19 brought festive cheer and musical entertainment inside the house, what has truly caught viewers’ attention is the growing closeness between contestants Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama.

The recent episode featured singer Altaf Raja making a special appearance to celebrate the festival of lights. Housemates were seen dancing to his iconic hits and enjoying the upbeat atmosphere. But amid the festivities, it was the budding chemistry between Baseer and Nehal that became the hot topic of discussion.

During the celebrations, fellow contestant Tanya Mittal was overheard saying that Baseer and Nehal “make a better pair,” sparking a round of gossip among the housemates.

Later, senior contestant Kunickaa Sadanand was seen offering the duo some light-hearted advice:

“Live in the moment and enjoy. Jaise hi plan karna shuru karoge, it will get spoiled.”

To which Baseer cheekily replied, “Who plans?”

The pair were later spotted chatting again at the dining table, where Baseer opened up about his unconventional idea of relationships:

“Koi aisa mil jaye who is like me — a bit toxic, a bit extra, a bit crazy — then I know this is the balance. I don't want a plain vanilla relationship. I like choco chips, tutty fruity,” he said with a smile, in the presence of Nehal and Kunickaa.

Meanwhile, fellow contestant Farrhana Bhatt, who has had an on-and-off dynamic with Baseer since the beginning of the show, weighed in on the apparent connection.

“Baseer ke side se fakeness lag rahi hai, Nehal ka pata nahi. Mujhe lagta hai meri vajah se shayad inka start nahi ho raha,” she said, hinting at unresolved tensions.

House Politics Heats Up

While the developing equation between Baseer and Nehal continues to intrigue fans, Bigg Boss 19 is also making waves outside the house. Housemates have begun forming alliances, with the season’s theme ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ adding a strategic twist to the format.

This season features a line-up of prominent contestants including Gaurav Khanna, Kunickaa Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Baseer Ali, Malti Chahar, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul, Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, and Shehbaz Badesha.

Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 is streaming on JioHotstar at 9 p.m., ahead of its television broadcast on Colors TV at 10:30 p.m.
