Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan once again greeted fans outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa, during his customary Sunday darshan, but the gathering reportedly turned chaotic after a fan fainted amid intense heat and heavy crowds.

Staying true to his long-running weekly tradition, the 83-year-old actor stepped out dressed in a white outfit and warmly acknowledged hundreds of admirers gathered outside his home. Videos circulating online showed Bachchan waving to fans, folding his hands in greeting and blowing flying kisses to the crowd.

However, amid the large turnout and soaring temperatures, one fan was reportedly seen collapsing during the gathering. Viral clips shared on social media showed people nearby attempting to support the individual, offering water and creating space as concern spread through the crowd. The condition of the fan has not been officially confirmed.

The incident comes days after online rumours about Bachchan’s health sparked concern among fans. Although the actor did not directly respond to speculation claiming he had been hospitalised, his energetic appearance during Sunday darshan appeared to reassure many admirers.

Earlier this week, Bachchan also shared a cryptic late-night post on X, prompting widespread discussion online.

On the professional front, the actor was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan.
