Tamil cinema star and professional racer Ajith Kumar has been left stranded in Dubai following widespread flight suspensions caused by escalating tensions in the Middle East. The actor, who had been in Abu Dhabi preparing for international racing competitions, is currently unable to fly back to Chennai. His manager has confirmed that he is safe and in good health, and will return home once air travel resumes.

Ajith had recently competed in the 2025 24H Dubai endurance race, delivering a notable performance, and has been training intensively for upcoming international events. During his stay, Abu Dhabi has become a hub for the Tamil film community, with fellow actors and musicians visiting the track to support him. Social media has been abuzz with images and videos showing the camaraderie and encouragement from his colleagues.

Beyond his film career, Ajith continues to promote professional racing in India, using his international profile to draw attention to Formula 1 and other major motorsport events. On the cinematic front, he was last seen in Good Bad Ugly and is set to reunite with director Adhik Ravichandran for his 64th film, widely referred to as AK64. He is also working on an autobiographical project with AL Vijay, exploring his lifelong passion for racing, with announcements regarding the cast and official title expected soon.

The travel disruption comes in the wake of a sharp escalation in the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. Key aviation hubs across the Middle East, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, have suspended operations as precautionary measures amid regional tensions. Airlines have halted flights to and from the area, leaving thousands of travellers stranded or forced to reroute their journeys.
