Chennai: Actor Ajith Kumar, who brought pride to the nation on Sunday by leading his team, Ajith Kumar Racing, to a third-place finish in the 991 category of the 24H Dubai 2025, had an inspiring message for his fans. Speaking after the victory, Ajith urged his fans to prioritize their own lives and happiness.

“Don’t bother about what the other person is doing. Focus on your lives,” he advised. Reflecting on the unwavering love from his supporters, he added, “I am very grateful for the love you have for me, but please look after your life. I will be a very happy man when I get to know that my fans are also doing very well in life, being kind to my peers and co-stars, and spreading positivity.”

Ajith spoke candidly about hero worship, urging fans to think about their own well-being. “Watch films. Everything is fine. But you know… ‘Ajith Vaazhga, Vijay Vaazhga’ (Long Live Ajith, Long Live Vijay)… When are you going to live?” He stressed the importance of living in the present, saying, “Life is short. Our great-grandchildren won’t remember us. Work hard, play hard, and stay happy. Stay healthy – not just physically, mentally too. Love you all.”

The actor’s commitment to his passions was evident as he participated in the 24H Dubai race despite a car crash during a practice session earlier in the week that left his car heavily damaged. Alongside teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod, Ajith competed fiercely in the 991 class, marking his team’s competitive debut in endurance racing. Ajith Kumar Racing has partnered with Bas Koeten Racing for technical and logistical support, setting the stage for a promising future in motorsports.

Ajith also announced that he would not be signing any films until the racing season concludes. He plans to take up a film between October and March, before the next racing season begins, highlighting his dedication to both his career and his racing ambitions. IANS
