According to industry reports, Dhar currently has three projects under consideration. The first is The Immortal Ashwatthama, a long-planned mythological superhero film that was previously shelved due to its high production cost and complex visual requirements. The project has remained a significant part of Dhar’s creative vision and could potentially be revived now that he has established a stronger commercial track record.
The second option is a historical epic set during the reign of Chandragupta Maurya. This project is reportedly gaining attention for its scale and narrative potential, as it explores themes of power, strategy, and historical conflict. Ranveer Singh is believed to be a likely choice for the lead role, although no official confirmation has been made.
In addition to these, Dhar is also said to be developing a sports drama, which is currently in the early stages of ideation. Details regarding the storyline and casting remain undisclosed at this point.
Reports further suggest that Dhar is not rushing into his next project immediately and is expected to take a short break after working extensively on the Dhurandhar franchise over the past few years. His final decision is expected to depend on factors such as scale, feasibility, and creative alignment.
At present, no official announcement has been made regarding his next film, and all reported projects remain in the consideration stage.
