Mumbai: Ranveer Singh has firmly established himself as Bollywood’s biggest box office powerhouse with the runaway success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The Aditya Dhar directorial has now crossed a staggering ₹1,067.24 crore worldwide, surpassing the lifetime collections of Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD (₹1,042.25 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (₹1,055 crore).

The film, which hit theatres on March 19, created unprecedented buzz, collecting over ₹100 crore domestically on each of its first three days. Its opening weekend worldwide haul reached ₹750 crore, marking the second-highest opening in Indian cinema history. Despite a 16% drop on Wednesday, Dhurandhar: The Revenge earned ₹47.70 crore net domestically, followed by ₹49.70 crore on Thursday, taking its domestic net collection to ₹674.14 crore (₹805.32 crore gross). By today, the film is expected to surpass the ₹700-crore domestic milestone.

The Ranveer Singh-starrer has also dominated international markets, opening strong with $7 million and earning over $22 million in its first weekend overseas. In eight days, the film has raked in ₹261.92 crore from the international box office, pushing the total worldwide gross to ₹1,067.24 crore.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already eclipsed major Bollywood blockbusters, including Kalki 2898 AD and Pathaan, and is now on track to challenge the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (₹1,100 crore) and Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2.

About the film

Directed by Aditya Dhar, this sequel follows Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi, exploring his rise from humble beginnings to becoming the kingpin of Lyari while dismantling terror networks in Pakistan. The film also stars R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt.
