Veteran actor and director Charu Haasan, brother of superstar Kamal Haasan, is currently in the hospital. His daughter, actress Suhasini, shared the news, revealing that Charuhasan was admitted after falling on Diwali eve.

Suhasini mentioned that surgery has been advised due to the injuries from the fall. She also posted a photo with Charuhasan in the hospital on her Instagram account. “Midnight before Deepavali we had a fall. Our Deepavali was at emergency. But we are all geared up for surgery,” the post said.
